Software

Warehouse, production, label, stock and asset software that works with the barcode printers, scanners and mobile computers we supply, and the Windows and Android apps we set up for your devices.

Barcode solutions

Label, scan and track stock without typing

Barcode label printers, barcode scanners, barcode labels and thermal transfer ribbons from one supplier, matched to each other, with Android mobile computers and software to complete the system, and RFID readers and printers where tags suit the job better than barcodes. A label is printed, scanned at each step from receiving to dispatch or billing, and every scan goes straight into your software.

Barcode systems are our core work. Since 2014 our team has helped buyers choose the right models, installed them on site, trained their staff and connected the scans to their ERP, billing or warehouse software.

Printer, labels, ribbon, scanner

Printer, labels, ribbon and scanner matched to your job

We choose your printer, labels, ribbon and scanner together, so each suits the others and your product. A label fails to scan when one part does not suit the others: a ribbon the label does not take, a label wrong for the surface, or a scanner that cannot read at that distance.

When a job needs it, we help you test with your own labels and products before a bulk order, and if a code fails later you call one team, not four suppliers.

Barcode printers

Desktop, industrial and mobile label printers, chosen for your label size, daily volume and where the printer sits.

Barcode scanners

Wired, wireless, hands-free and rugged scanners, set up to send data the way your software expects.

Barcode labels

Direct thermal and thermal transfer labels in the size, material and adhesive the surface and the conditions need.

Thermal transfer ribbons

Wax, wax/resin and resin ribbons, matched to the label material and to how long the print has to last.

Get a quote for a matched set: tell us what you label, the surface and where it is scanned.

By task

Which devices for which step of your work?

Pick the step where your team still types codes or counts on paper. Each task names example pages; we confirm the exact models in your quotation.

Receive goods and update stock at the dock

Scan the supplier's barcode or your own goods-receipt label as each delivery is checked in, so the receipt reaches your software without retyping. For example, a corded scanner at the goods-inward desk or an Android mobile computer at the dock, with AllCommerce ACE-WMS or your ERP taking the scans.

Consider: Wired handheld scanners, Mobile computers, AllCommerce ACE-WMS

Label parts and batches in production

An industrial printer beside the line prints the part, batch or work-in-progress label, and a rugged or mounted scanner reads it at each stage, so a finished item traces back to its batch.

Consider: Industrial label printers, Rugged industrial scanners, Mountable scanners, Work-in-progress tracking

Pick, pack and dispatch orders

Pickers confirm each item with a scan on a handheld, the packing table prints the carton label on a desktop printer, and a last scan at loading checks each carton against the order.

Consider: Mobile computers, Desktop label printers, AllCommerce ACE-WMS

Count stock by rack, bin and SKU

Scan each bin label and item instead of writing counts on paper: a barcode inventory system sends the count to your inventory or warehouse software. Where items carry RFID tags, our UHF RFID handheld, the Newland MT93-U, reads many of them at once.

Consider: Mobile computers, Wireless handheld scanners, Newland MT93-U, Inventory software

Track assets with RFID tags

Tag machines, IT equipment and tools, then count them during an audit without scanning each one in line of sight. For example, the Newland MT93-U handheld reads UHF tags and 1D/2D barcodes, and the Zebra ZT411 industrial printer with Zebra's UHF RFID option prints and encodes the tags. Read results depend on the item, the tag and the surroundings, so tell us what you want to tag first.

Consider: Newland MT93-U, Zebra ZT411, Asset tracking software

Beyond the barcode chain

Mobile computers, tablets, RFID, software, spares and service

Printers and scanners are the start. Most sites also need handhelds for staff on the move, software that receives the scans, spares and someone to keep it all running.

Mobile computers

Android handhelds with a built-in barcode scanner for picking, stock counts, deliveries and field sales.

Industrial tablets

Zebra and Honeywell Android and Windows tablets for forklifts, plants and field work, with scan-engine options and, on most models, a vehicle dock.

RFID readers and printers

Readers: the Newland MT93-U UHF RFID handheld reader, and the Honeywell IH40 handheld RFID reader on our Honeywell page. Printers: the Zebra industrial printers ZT231, ZT411, ZT421, ZT610 and ZT620 take Zebra's UHF RFID encoder, which can be added in the field (a field-installable kit on the ZT231; not offered on the ZT610's 600 dpi Micro Label Printer version). Among other makers' industrial printers, the Honeywell PM45 takes a field-installable UHF RFID kit (ask us which kit we supply for India before you order RFID labels), TSC lists RFID tear-off and cutter upgrade kits for the TSC MB241 Series, and Godex lists an RFID read/write module for the Godex ZX1200i+ Series as a project option. Some desktop and mobile printers, scanners, mobile computers and tablets on our product pages also have RFID versions or RFID add-ons; each product page says which. RFID read results depend on the item, the tag and the surroundings, so tell us what you want to tag and we will say plainly whether RFID or barcodes suit it better.

Where it is used

Barcode systems for inventory, production and dispatch

The same printers, scanners and labels serve very different jobs. These are the ones our customers use them for.

Manufacturing and traceability

Part, batch and work-in-progress labels scanned at each stage of the shop floor, so a finished item can be traced back to its batch and stage.

Dispatch and logistics

Carton and shipping labels printed at the packing table, and a scan at loading that confirms the right goods leave on the right vehicle.

Asset tracking

Durable barcode tags on machines, IT equipment and tools, scanned during audits and repairs, with asset tracking software. RFID tags help where many assets must be counted quickly.

Labels from your own systems

Labels printed from your Excel work lists or straight from a weighing scale, with the layout, barcode type and data your customers specify.

GS1 product barcodes

We supply the printers, labels and scanners that print and read EAN-13, GS1-128 and GS1 DataBar barcodes on retail products and cartons: see our barcode printers and corded barcode scanners.

Where to start

Four questions that shape your setup

The buying guides go deeper: barcode printers, barcode scanners and mobile computers.

What are you labelling?

Products, cartons, pallets, assets or documents. Label size, the number of labels a day and how long the label must survive decide between a desktop and an industrial printer, and between direct thermal and thermal transfer.

Where is the barcode read?

At a counter, a scanner on a cable or a stand is enough. Across a warehouse, a wireless scanner or a mobile computer moves with the person. On a production line, a mounted scanner reads without anyone holding it.

Where must the data go?

Name the software you use: ERP, billing, inventory or a spreadsheet. The scanner or handheld has to send data in the form that software expects, and that often decides the model and its settings.

Barcode, RFID or both?

A barcode costs little to print and is read one at a time with a clear line of sight. RFID tags cost more per item but can be read without line of sight and many at once, which helps with stock counts and asset tracking. Many sites start with barcodes and add RFID where counting time matters most.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

What is the price of barcode and RFID equipment in India?

It depends on the devices, how many you need, the labels or tags, the software and the setup at your site. Ask our team for today's competitive price: share your requirement and budget, and we will help you choose the right devices and software and send a written quotation with current pricing and delivery time.

Which products do I need for my process?

Start from the step you want to fix. The tasks above link the devices and software for receiving, production labels, picking and dispatch, stock counts and RFID asset tracking. Send us your steps, the number of users and the software you run, and we propose one matched set.

Will it work with our ERP or warehouse software?

Tell us the software you run. We set the scanners and handhelds to send data in the form it expects, print labels from it, and scope any deeper connection in the quotation. If you need a warehouse system, our AllCommerce ACE-WMS handles receiving, put-away, picking and dispatch by barcode and RFID, and we have built an on-premise integration between it and SAP for a customer.

Do you supply and set up RFID?

Yes, as equipment: we supply RFID readers, RFID printers and RFID labels, and install them at your site. Where the tags go and the rules your software applies to the reads are decided with your team or your software provider. Tell us what you want to tag and we will say plainly whether RFID or barcodes suit it better.

Which brands does Allmark supply?

Label printers from Zebra, Honeywell, TSC, Godex and TVS Electronics; barcode scanners from Zebra, Honeywell, Newland and Henex; mobile computers from Zebra, Honeywell, Newland and TVS Electronics; industrial tablets from Zebra and Honeywell; ribbons from Zebra, TSC, Ricoh and inkanto; and for billing counters, Rongta receipt printers, Rugtek and Posiflex cash drawers, Henex scanners and our own All-in-One Mini POS. All come through the makers' authorised distribution channels in India, and each product page shows the maker's own specification where the maker publishes one.

Can you supply and set up the whole system?

Yes. Tell us what you label, where it is scanned and which software you use, and we will propose the printers, scanners, handhelds, labels and software together, with one written quotation. Request a quote.

Who services the system after installation?

We do, for the barcode printers and scanners we support. When a code stops printing or scanning, call or WhatsApp us: we go through the printer, labels, ribbon and scanner settings with you remotely first, and if that does not fix it, an engineer visits or you bring the unit to our Chennai office. We quote any repair before we begin. Book a service call.

Do you supply barcode systems outside Chennai?

Yes. We deliver across India. For larger projects our engineers have installed on site in Hyderabad and Bangalore.
