Synthetic labels
Synthetic labels are made of plastic film instead of paper. Zebra notes they give durable, long-lasting print and resist abrasion, moisture and chemicals, where paper is the economical choice for general labels.
Printed thermal transfer, they take a resin ribbon, or wax/resin on matte synthetics, as Zebra pairs them. In labels, polyester means PET (polyethylene terephthalate) film.
Zebra notes synthetic labels give durable print and resist abrasion, moisture and chemicals.
Zebra notes polyester resists tearing and keeps its shape, so the barcode does not distort.
We supply silver polyester for asset, approval and status labels.
Custom sizes and shapes, 1, 2 or 3 across the roll, on the core your printer takes.

Before you order
Print synthetic labels with a resin ribbon, or wax/resin on matte synthetics, as Zebra pairs them. Zebra pairs wax ribbons with paper labels. Barcode ribbons.
Zebra notes synthetic labels do not give good text and barcodes above about 6 inches per second, so set the printer at or below that.
Tell us what the label goes on and what it faces, and we confirm the material and adhesive in the quotation.
Ordering
Give us the surface, what the label faces, the size in mm, how many labels you need and your printer model. We confirm the material, size and delivery time in the quotation.
