Why the RT710 Rugged Tablet
Honeywell lists the RT710 Rugged Tablet under its tablets and calls it a purpose-built vehicle-mounted tablet. It pairs a 10.1-inch Android 16 tablet with vehicle docks, keypads, a charge dock and a display dock for warehouse, logistics, manufacturing and field service work.
Honeywell designs the RT710 for vehicle mounting. Its accessory range includes vehicle docks and keypads, so a driver gets a 10.1-inch screen and a keypad in the cab. A charge dock and a display dock complete the range.
Honeywell describes the RT710 and its docks as the hub that connects printers, scanners and other peripherals. The tablet has one USB Type-C charge and communication port, two USB Type-A communication ports, Bluetooth 6.0 with a second Bluetooth Low Energy radio, and NFC in the display.
The standard battery is 10,000 mAh and the extended battery 20,000 mAh. Batteries are hot-swappable: Honeywell's quick start guide says to insert a charged battery within 60 seconds.
Rated for multiple 2.4 m drops to concrete at ambient temperature and 1.8 m at 55 °C, and independently certified to IP66 and IP68. The 1,000-nit screen uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and a moisture-tolerant touchscreen.
The RT710 runs Android 16 on Honeywell's Mobility Edge platform. Honeywell's datasheet commits to each Android version from 16 to 20, subject to technical and commercial feasibility; Honeywell ties major upgrades to active Honeywell support cover, which we confirm in the quotation.
Choose the RT710 without a scanner, with the S0703 imager for 1D and 2D barcodes, or with the FlexRange S0803. Allmark connects it to your warehouse, billing or ERP software and trains your team to use it.

For buyers in India
These are the points buyers in India ask us about the RT710 Rugged Tablet. Mention the ones that apply to you when you request a quote.
Tell us if the vehicle needs a SIM. On 18 October 2026 Honeywell's catalogue for India listed four RT710 versions, all Wi-Fi only: 8 GB/128 GB with no scanner, with a standard-range or a FlexRange scanner, and 16 GB/256 GB with FlexRange. The datasheet also lists a 5G and LTE version; we confirm what can be supplied in the quotation.
Keep spare batteries out of a closed vehicle cab parked in the sun. The standard RT710 works from -20 °C to 55 °C, and Honeywell's battery sheet says to charge the packs at 0 °C to 45 °C and not to store them above 45 °C.
Tell us the room temperature when you ask for a quote. Honeywell offers a cold storage option rated -30 °C to 50 °C with its own 10,000 mAh cold storage battery; it is not among the four versions in the India catalogue, so we confirm it in the quotation.

Questions buyers ask
The RT710 Rugged Tablet price depends on the accessories (cradles, spare batteries) and the quantity. Ask our team for today's competitive price: share your requirement and budget, and we will help you choose the right configuration and send a written quotation with current pricing and delivery time.
Honeywell builds the RT710 for vehicle mounting: its accessories include vehicle docks and keypads. Honeywell also lists a charge dock and a display dock, and the tablet runs on its own hot-swap battery of 10,000 or 20,000 mAh with two scan buttons, so it can be lifted out of the dock. If staff will carry a tablet most of the day, compare it with the RT10A.
Honeywell's datasheet lists a version with 5G and LTE, VoLTE, one eSIM and one nano-SIM. On 18 October 2026 Honeywell's catalogue for India listed only Wi-Fi versions, and Honeywell notes that RT710-L0 models have no WWAN radio. Tell us if the vehicle needs a SIM and we confirm what can be supplied in the quotation.
It runs Android 16. Honeywell's datasheet commits to each Android version from 16 to 20, subject to technical and commercial feasibility, and ties major upgrades to active Honeywell support cover, which we confirm in the quotation. Honeywell gives the Mobility Edge platform lifecycle, security and support beyond 2036. Ask for that support cover with the purchase if you want those upgrades.
Choose the cold storage version. Honeywell rates it -30 °C to 50 °C and pairs it with a 10,000 mAh cold storage battery. The standard RT710 is rated -20 °C to 55 °C. The cold storage version is not among the versions in Honeywell's India catalogue, so tell us the room temperature and we confirm it in the quotation.
The RT710 is the newer tablet built for vehicle mounting: Android 16, Wi-Fi 7, IP66 and IP68, 2.4 m drops and 10,000 or 20,000 mAh batteries. The RT10A runs Android 9 upgradeable through 13, has Wi-Fi 5, IP65 and 1.2 m drops, and Honeywell offers desk docks and hand or shoulder straps for it, for use away from the vehicle. Tell us where the tablet will spend the shift.
