Why the ML241P Series
The ML241P Series is TSC's compact industrial printer, in a 203 dpi model (ML241P) and a 300 dpi model (ML341P). TSC India lists it as the replacement for the ML240 Series.
At 245 mm high, 248 mm wide and 416 mm deep, TSC designed it for height-restricted places such as rack mounting. It weighs 7.7 kg.
Label rolls up to 203.2 mm (8 inches) O.D. and 450 m ribbons mean fewer changes on high-volume jobs.
A 50 mm wide-open media area speeds up loading labels and ribbon. The printhead and platen roller come out without tools for cleaning or replacement.
Printhead pressure position and ribbon tension balance can be adjusted, which helps when switching between label stocks.
TSC Sense Care reports printhead health (TPH Care), printhead mileage and cutter counts. Setup and monitoring run through TSC Console, SOTI Connect (licence required) or the printer's built-in web page.
TSPL-EZD firmware switches automatically between EPL, ZPL, ZPL II and DPL, so label templates from other printers can usually be reused.

Leave space for air to move around the ML241P in a rack. TSC built it for height-restricted places such as racks, and rates it for 0 °C to 40 °C at 25-85% humidity, non-condensing, in the air around the printer; a closed rack can be warmer than the room. Its universal supply takes AC 100-240 V, 50-60 Hz (60 W output), which covers 230 V and 240 V mains on India's 50 Hz grid.
Plan on about 2.7 rolls of 4 × 6 labels per 450 m ribbon on the ML241P. A 4 × 6 inch label fits the 108 mm print width (203 dpi). At 204 mm/s (8 ips) one label with a 3 mm gap takes about 0.76 s, some 4,700 an hour; the ML341P needs about 1 s. A full 8-inch roll of its thickest media (0.19 mm) on a 1-inch core is about 168 m, roughly 1,080 labels. With labels thinner than about 0.07 mm a roll is longer than 450 m, and the ribbon runs out first.
Print EAN-13 at 3 dots per module on the ML241P (0.375 mm, a code about 42.4 mm wide) or 4 on the ML341P (0.333 mm, about 37.7 mm wide). Both print EAN-13 for the 890 product numbers GS1 India issues. Ask us to set up your label format and print test labels on your roll.

The ML241P Series price depends on the resolution you choose (203 or 300 dpi), the options you add and the quantity. We can quote the labels and ribbon with it. The ME240 is no longer sold, and TSC India lists its support as ended in December 2025. TSC names the ML240 and MB240 as its replacements, and those are now replaced by the ML241P and the MB241. Against TSC's ME240 figures, the ML241P is faster (8 ips against 6 ips at 203 dpi), lower (245 mm against 259 mm), lighter (7.7 kg against 11 kg) and has Ethernet as standard rather than as an option.
Choose the ML241P where height or weight matters, for example in a rack: it is 245 mm tall and 7.7 kg. Choose the MB241 for higher speed (12 ips against 8 ips at 203 dpi), thicker media (up to 0.28 mm against 0.19 mm), a touch-screen option, and rewinder, linerless or RFID kits.
The ML241P takes media from 0.06 to 0.19 mm thick, so thicker hang tags and cards, up to 0.28 mm, need the MB241 or MH241 Series. Send a sample of your tag with your quote request.
TSC's TSPL-EZD firmware supports EPL, ZPL, ZPL II and DPL and switches language automatically, so templates from an ME240 or printers of other makes can usually be reused. Tell us which software prints your labels when you ask for a quote.
Yes. EAN-13 is in its barcode list. Set the bar module to 3 dots on the 203 dpi ML241P or 4 dots on the 300 dpi ML341P. Check the first prints with a barcode verifier if a retailer asks for a grade.
Yes. We install the ML241P Series at your site, connect it so your ERP, warehouse or billing software prints to it (our own warehouse management system included) and train the people who use it. Tell us the software when you ask for a quote, and we include the setup in the quotation.
